What's up InnerVerse people! Got some new music to share with y'all. This one has been cooking for several weeks and I'm very excited that it's ready to debut. The song title is a play on the old saying, "The Map Is Not The Terrain" - but of course, in Terrain medicine, the Terrain is literally your map. Inspired by reading Dr. Marizelle Arce's new book, Germs Are Not Our Enemy, and the forthcoming (tomorrow!) episode where I interviewed her, the song is my statement on finally coming around 100 percent to the truth that nature is not a warzone, and there's nothing designed to attack us.
I really want to know what you think of this one, even if you don't read the whole post, drop me some comments!
Musically, I put the most work into this one, as it seems to be with each new song, because I figured out some new layers of control to my process. As you can see with the picture below, this is not some "AI easy button" -- I am using AI to generate my instruments and vocals, but I'm scripting every section of the song, and these lyrics are 100 percent me. I get multiple versions and then cobble together the stems (individual instrument tracks), alter their attributes as needed, and then master all that after its composed. And best of all, I figured out how to tune the song to 432hz, which I think you can really feel. I'll be going back and doing that to all my older songs (but you won't hear these remasters til they all re-release, more on that later).
On the video side, this is where things really got crazy in production, as I learned several new tricks this time around. AI video essentially limits you to generating little 5 to 10 second snippets, but now I know how to do things like getting a (fairly) consistent character in each clip, upscaling the resolution, framerate and smoothness, and choosing a start frame and end frame image so I have better control over what's generated. So that was quite time consuming to learn and implement, but next time I think it'll go much quicker, because I've got the process down. And in my opinion, this is one of the least "AI cringe" things I've made yet, I honestly like it a lot, and it's got me excited for what ought to be possible soon, just around the corner, if I can already do all this. It's an investment though. This kind of computin' ain't cheap. I'd never be able to justify it without your support.
I named the character in the video Zaraya. Za (in Hebrew it's usually a prefix to exclamatory words, i.e. crying out) + Ra (The sun, the light) + Ya (God, Affirmative). So her name is kind of like, "Calling To The Light of God." Her vibe and environment just came out organically when I was playing around with character design possibilities, and I realized after the fact, that I had created a sort of Persian/Iranian goddess, and it was an interesting sync because I was making this at the same time that Iran was being bombed and scapegoated. So the whole project has a subtextual vibe as a kind of a healing intention towards this part of our earthly realm terrain.
Finally, some really cool news, my music is coming to streaming platforms like Spotify and iTunes on 7/21. That's where you'll be able to hear remastered 432hz versions of what I've already made.
Lyrics:
Toxins make us ill
Quit the poison pill
Clean food and water
Will make you feel better
Nature's not a warzone
Don't fear the microbe
No tiny bugs to fight
We are made of light
Terrain is the map
Our biome fills the gap
Don't need immunity
Cuz I am unity
Life self-organizes
Thank your microzyma
The medicine we need
Is love and energy
Bacteria ain't static
They don't attack ya
Pleomorphic shift
Disproves the germ myth
Release the fear you feel
Contagion isn't real
As within so without
Take the natural route
Terrain is the map
Our biome will adapt
Don't need immunity
Cuz I am unity
Life self-harmonizes
Thank your microzyma
The healing that we seek
Is inside you and me
We're creatures of vibration
Help detoxification
With nutrition and hydration
And life is a vacation
The only thing to sterilize
Are the worries and the lies
Your InnerVerse is wise
And the truth will always rise
